Micah Clatterbaugh is a Senior Associate at Hunter Pyle Law.
Micah Clatterbaugh is a senior associate attorney at Hunter Pyle Law, focusing on employment law. Prior to joining Hunter Pyle Law, Micah practiced labor law at Leonard Carder and civil rights at Siegel & Yee, including employment, tenant rights, and prisoner rights cases. He graduated from UC Berkeley in 2002 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Music. After several years of community organizing, professional culinary work, and legal advocacy for day laborers, Micah apprenticed under civil rights attorney Dan Siegel to become a lawyer without law school. He completed the apprenticeship and was admitted to the California bar in 2017.
Micah spends much of his free time improving his culinary skills, caring for his many plants (in particular bonsai), and training martial arts. Micah’s recently released book, DIY Law School, is a guide for anyone interested in becoming an attorney in California without attending law school.
