Jake Darin joined Hunter Pyle Law in 2020. Mr. Darin has focused on employee rights throughout his career. In law school, his work for a small plaintiff’s side firm showed him the significant impact that quality representation can make for individuals harmed by unlawful employment practices. Motivated by this experience, he earned the top grade in his employment-law coursework and participated in Legal Aid at Work’s Workers’ Rights Clinic, where he successfully represented a client in her unemployment insurance appeal before an administrative law judge.Mr. Darin earned his J.D., with honors, from the University of California, Hastings College of Law in 2018. At graduation, he was recognized with Outstanding Achievement in Pro Bono for providing over 150 hours of volunteer direct legal services. Following law school, Mr. Darin clerked for the Honorable Deborah M. Smith, Chief United States Magistrate Judge for the District of Alaska, in Anchorage.
