Bradan Litzinger is an Associate at Hunter Pyle Law.
Bradan Litzinger (he/him) joined Hunter Pyle Law first as a FAIR Fellow in 2023, and then as an Associate Attorney in early 2024. Bradan is a dedicated and passionate advocate for workers’ rights, with a particular interest in racial discrimination and whistleblower retaliation cases and representing low-wage workers. Before joining the firm, Bradan worked at Legal Aid at Work (LAAW) as a member of the Wage Protection Program and the Racial Economic Justice Program. At LAAW, Bradan represented workers before the California Labor Commissioner, in appeals before the California Unemployment Insurance Appeals Board, and in cases where workers had been denied employment in violation of California’s Fair Chance Act.
Bradan received his J.D. from the University of California, Los Angeles in 2022, specializing in the David J. Epstein Program in Public Interest Law and Policy and the Critical Race Studies Program. While in law school, Bradan was a law clerk at the Equal Justice Society, a national civil rights organization based in Oakland, and at the Worker Rights & Fair Labor Section of the CA Department of Justice. Bradan also volunteered in the Labor and Economic Justice Clinic and the Race, Work, and Economic Justice Clinic. Bradan also served as the Chief Executive Editor of the UCLA Law Review, Treasurer of the UCLA Black Law Students Association, and as a mentor in the UCLA Law Fellows program.
Prior to his legal career, Bradan graduated from the University of Chicago in 2011 with a B.A. in Public Policy and Psychology. He worked as Legislative Director for a Berkeley City Councilmember and as the Director of Operations of a Bay Area education start-up. He currently lives in Berkeley with his wife and son and their two cats.
