Hunter Pyle Law, PC is pleased to announce that Katie Fiester has become a partner of the firm.
Ms. Fiester is passionate about representing workers. She earned her J.D. from the University of California College of the Law, San Francisco in 2014. In law school, she participated in the Workers’ Rights Clinic where she provided direct services to workers throughout California. She also worked as a Judicial Extern for the Honorable Magistrate Judge Michael J. Seng (Ret.) in the United States District Court, Eastern District of California in Yosemite National Park and as a Government Officer for the United States Attorneys’ Office.
After passing the California Bar Exam, Ms. Fiester began her legal career at Legal Aid at Work, a non-profit organization, as the Shartsis Friese LLP Public Interest Fellow, and later became a Staff Attorney. During her time at Legal Aid at Work, Ms. Fiester focused on enforcing, protecting, and advocating for workers’ rights. She represented clients with wage and hour and retaliation claims before the California Labor Commissioner and in state and federal court. She also advocated for legislative reform and served hundreds of clients at semi-monthly Wage Claim Clinics held at the California Labor Commissioner offices in San Francisco and Oakland.
Ms. Fiester joined Hunter Pyle Law in 2019. Super Lawyers recognized Ms. Fiester as a “Rising Star” in 2023 and 2024. She represents clients in myriad areas of employment law, including wage and hour, retaliation, harassment, and discrimination cases. Ms. Fiester represents clients in individual, multi-plaintiff, and class action cases. She is a zealous and strategic advocate for her clients.
